OBELUX
- OBELUX is a software program
for building and construction businesses
- It is composed by the following modules.
-- Offers and bids,
-- Budgeting
-- Follow up and intermediate invoicing.
-- Measurements
-- Final invoicing and evaluation of the results
- Offers and Bids
The software enables you, on behalf of a book of dues, to create a bid (offer)
based on standard and/or accumulated information that resides in the system.
The system actively communicates with OBELUX E-Business as well as with a
text conversion system to avoid manual entering of the information of the
book of dues.
- Budgeting
Creation and administration of the budget resulting in a list of needs; resources
and material. (Purchases of material can be made using GEURUS).
-Follow up and intermediate invoicing.
Assigning of the material, human resources, other resources on the different
positions of the bid.
Creation of intermediate invoices.
- Measurement
Creation of intermediary and final measurement.
- Final invoicing and evaluation of the results.
The evaluation is designed to analyze the profitability of the different positions
of the bid. The result shows quantity and money comparisons. The values compared
are: offer vs budget vs measurement vs invoice.
The final invoice is based upon values from the bid, the measurement, with
plus/minus adjustments.
OBELUX E-BUSINESS
Here is Obelux is different from the other software programs. How it works and what are the benefits?
- Using our INTERNET service, where we convert books of dues
which are send to us, into data structures, in combination with our interface
enables you to automatically insert the information into your database system
or OBELUX.
How does this work? You send a book of dues to our server using e-mail (only
if it is not already available). We convert it to *.xls and *.xpt (SQL). You
download the needed files from the server. Our interface compares/synchronize
your data with the downloaded data and prepares the necessary values necessary
for the bid.
- The benefit is an important gain of time. You save the manual entering of the book of dues. Other appreciable benefits are the automatic documentation and the error free information.
In the USA, in California to be precise, the first "E" test concerning bids have started n 1998. Today the B to B percentage is growing in a very important manner. Architects transmits information to service centers which returns them to the architects before putting them to the NET. Enormous time saving, up to date information and the coverage of a larger market space are the results. They believe that in about ten years the major part of the paper work will have disappeared. (This includes drawings and legal documents..)
